We are hoping the worst of the weather is behind us now and we can go into show weekend with some sunshine.
First up this week though is Gin Club on Thursday 17th from 6.30pm. £10 per head gets some gin tasting and some cocktails. Let us know if you would like to join us for dinner afterwards, £13 for two courses.
Saturday is Show day! Gates open at midday, and this year see’s over 700 cars and bikes on display as well as numerous stalls and the horticultural tent with many homegrown produce, flowers, cakes etc on display. The Show Team will be starting the set up on the Recreation Ground from Thursday, so there will be limited/no availability of parking at the memorial hall from then. Look forward to seeing lots of people there.
Next week we have quiz night on Tuesday the 22nd. Two course dinner for £13 from 6pm with the quiz starting at 7pm. Tables of 4people for £2 each, winning team each receives a £5 voucher for future use on food and drinks. If you would like to join us then please contact us and we can book you in.
Then Saturday the 26th we have an Open Mic extravaganza from 3pm-10pm. Raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Why not come down and show support to everyone participating. Sunday the 27th is our annual BBC Blues BBQ from 3pm. We welcome back the British Bluescasting Corporation for an afternoon of music. Tickets £10 each available from www.capelboxoffice.co.uk. The BBQ will be on both days from 3pm for your food enjoyment.
