What’s on this week @thecrown you ask?
Tuesday is our monthly quiz night with quiz mistress Corinne testing our knowledge on a variety of subjects. Dinner starts at 6pm for those that wish and we do advise booking. Quiz teams are 4 people at £2 a head with all money raised going to the monthly charity. Winning team gets a £5 voucher each to spend at a later date.
Friday 17th is St Patrick’s Day and we have arranged for Stonebaked Pizza Van to be in the carpark from 4pm. Takeaway or eat in is available.
Saturday the 18th is the final day of this years six nations rugby. Will Ireland take out the grand slam with a home win against England? First game is Scotland v Italy at 12.30pm, then France v Wales at 2.45pm followed by the match of the day Ireland v England at 5pm.
Why not stick around after the rugby and enjoy our Open Mic Night from 7.30pm. Lots of fabulous people will be in performing for us. Join in or just come and enjoy the evening.
Then it’s Mothering Sunday on the 19th. Book a space for your roast dinner lunch between 12 and 3pm or book a table for an afternoon tea with Prosecco. Afternoon teas will be supplied by Surrey Hills Cafe for £12.50 a person (excluding alcohol). You can either order direct with them or via us here at The Crown.
Don’t forget we also have Ho’s Chinese van for your weekly fix on Thursday and Sunday from 5pm.
Hope to see you all during the week. Have a good one.
