Word on the Street

Hi everyone,
Hope you are well, it’s been a crazy couple of weeks round the village with the first Capel Blues Festival and also the Capel Military Show. All of it was fun to be part of and we can’t wait for next years shows. This month we are supporting Macmillan as our charity, and it all starts on Wednesday 8th from 10.30am with our coffee and cake morning. Then we have quiz night on Tuesday the 14th starting at 6.45pm. And finally we have our afternoon tea party on Wednesday 22nd from 3-5pm. Bookings essential for this event. Also this week see’s the return of Flix in the Stix on Tuesday 7th. We will be doing a special menu for those that are attending the movie night, please let us know if you are going to the movies. Cafe church is back in the garden on Sunday the 12th. Coffee and croissants available, please book if you staying for roast dinner lunch. Cottage Concerts is back with the fantastic Jacqui McShee performing at 8pm in our wonderful church on Saturday the 11th. Tickets can still be purchased from the Capel Box Office. Book in for dinner before hand in our front dining area. Just to let you know our garden and back bar will be closed for a private wedding on Saturday 11th as well as Saturday the 18th September. So another busy week for my hoomans, they will be looking forward to their break soon. I am really enjoying the fishie’s n chipies over the rainbow bridge, and playing with all my fur friends.
